BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- France on Thursday condemned Israeli plans to construct 198 new homes in Jewish settlements in the southern West Bank.

Israel's housing ministry on Wednesday released government tenders inviting developers to bid on two building projects in Efrat and Kiryat Arba settlements, Israeli media reported.

A spokesman for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs said France was "especially concerned about the impact of these two projects on the territorial contiguity of a future Palestinian state."

"It therefore calls on the Israeli government to reverse this provocative and illegal decision," the spokesman said in a statement, adding that settlement activity fueled tensions on the ground and constituted an obstacle to peace.

Israel can and will ignore France's latest condemnations of internal Israeli policies,
just like past condemnations from the PA, the EU, and teven he UN, so the Jewish Settlements will proceed, and Arab Tents will continue being removed !!

Okay then! If France is SO concerned re:Zionism's Jewish-only colonization of Palestine&aspirations to GRAB MORE W/E Bank land&drive all non-Jews in to neighboring Arab/Maghrib lands, then why doesn't France SANCTION,BOYCOTT,DIVEST from Israel's apartheid colonialism? Or perhaps France is MORE concerned itself with re:occupying ALGIERIA(via Mali/Africom)using US/NATO-proxy al-Qaida/Salafists(freshly-armed from the Libyan coup)as EXCUSE? PEACE is more lucrative(long-term)than WAR!

#2 Because Benin, Ghana, Niger, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Togo Chad and Nigeria will all need medical and military supplies and training from Israel as well as Israel's expertise, while fighting Islamic extremists in Mali. ''Apartheid colonialism'' coming from a north American and what your countries have done to the native American first nation people.

Here we go again. #3 - instead of looking at the issues in the article, goes back to condemnation of the US (and, no doubt, Australia too after he reads my post) for colonising those lands. Who were the "settlers/invaders of North America and Australia? British citizens!!! So think about what you say before you say it.
