GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- A Palestinian baby has survived the removal of a kitchen knife which pierced his skull, medics in Gaza said Sunday.
The 18-month-old, identified as R. A., was impaled by the knife through his mouth in a home accident, health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said.
He is currently in intensive care at the European hospital in Khan Younis after doctors successfully removed the knife, he said.
