GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli authorities have decided to shut the Kerem Shalom crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip during their election day on Tuesday, a Palestinian official said.
An official in the Palestinian crossings department told Ma’an on Monday that Kerem Shalom would be shut for the day, while the Erez passenger crossing would be partially operational.
Only emergency cases will be allowed to leave the Gaza Strip, but Erez will be open for all those who want to return to Gaza.
