Israeli forces detain 5 people in West Bank

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces arrested five people overnight Monday in the West Bank, locals said.
Munjed Ragheb Salah, 22, and Maher Asaad Salah, 21, were detained in Burqa village Nablus, after soldiers raided several homes in the area, witnesses told Ma'an.
Three people were also arrested in Beit Ummar, Hebron, a local committee spokesman said.
Rabee Abu Ayyash, 12, Yazan Ikhlayel, 15, and Ibrahim Mohammad Abdul-Hamid Ibraghtith, 40, were arrested in overnight raids, Mohammad Awad, the spokesman of Beit Ummar's popular committee against the wall, said.
Clashes broke out in the area following the arrests, with Israeli forces firing tear gas and live ammo in the air.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said three people were arrested overnight, two in Burqa and one in Jenin.
