TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- Three former prisoners of Israel protesting in Tulkarem say the Palestinian Authority is neglecting their rights.

Mohammad Sabah, Samer Salah and Bassam Mari set up a protest tent outside the PA's detainee affairs office in the northern West Bank city on Sunday.

Sabah told Ma'an the former detainees would continue their protest until the PA met their demands, and that they may go on hunger strike. He also thanked activists for their support.

Political prisoners are entitled to financial assistance from the PA after their release from Israeli jails.
