GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian man was killed by security forces during a drugs ambush in Gaza on Saturday.
A drugs task force of the Palestinian police set up the ambush near the tunnel area in Rafah, south Gaza.
Gaza interior ministry spokesman Sakam Shahwan said the suspected drug dealers fled when they saw police, and forces shot in the air to apprehend them.
One of the suspects was injured by gunfire and died shortly after, he said.
The spokesman said police seized 10,000 pills and three packets of hashish in the raid.
