NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli troops clashed with Palestinians in two Nablus-district villages on Sunday evening, resulting in the detention of three Palestinians, locals said.
Around 10 military vehicles raided Burin village, south of Nablus, and began firing tear gas and sound grenades towards people who throw stones at them.
Muhammad Suhail Najar, 22, was detained during the clashes, locals said.
Forces also raided the nearby village of Urif, prompting clashes with local youth.
PA settlement monitor Ghassan Daghlas said the army detained Faeq Sabah, 19, and Ahmad Abdul Hadi Al-Safadi, 22, before withdrawing.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said she would look into the incidents.
