BRUSSELS (Reuters) -- The European Union will consider adding Lebanon's Hezbollah movement to its list of terrorist organizations after it was implicated in a bombing in Bulgaria last year, an EU foreign affairs spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

However, she said listing the group was just one of several options and said no decision had been taken.

"Currently, Hezbollah is not on the list of terrorist organizations in the EU and member states will look into several options. This is one of them but not the only one," Maja Kocijancic told reporters.

EU foreign ministers meet on Feb. 18 for a regular gathering at which the issue could be discussed.

Bulgaria on Tuesday accused Hezbollah of carrying out a bomb attack on a bus in the Black Sea city of Burgas that killed five Israeli tourists.

The United States already lists the group as a terrorist organization and US and Israeli authorities want to see the EU take a similar position.

Kocijancic said other options included EU member states taking action against Hezbollah via Europol, the European policing agency, via the courts or through other diplomatic channels, but she did not elaborate.

The EU should have "listed Hezbollah as terrorist group", several years ago, after it rained 1,000s of rockets on the civilians of Israel, and since
- the Hezbollah largely rules the state of Lebanon, so
- the EU should list LEBANON "AS A TERRORIST" STATE.

To Tibi/Tubas. israel is the terrorist. Hezbollah was just reacting to an israeli invasion. If you look at the results of the Hezbollah vs israeli bombardments Hezbollah had an overwhelming, order of magnitude better discrimination ratio of hitting israeli combatants than israel. Hezbollah killed 100 israelis, only 10 were civilians. Israel killed 1200 Lebanese only 100 to 200 were Hezbollah. israel is terror

The Bulgarians have provided no evidence that connects the bus attack to Hezbollah. This reporting is typical of pro Israeli news media. The expected 'stroll in the park' after the Israel pulverisation of Lebanon was met with a fierce response by Hezbollah and this is the reason they are ludicrously implicated by in this bomb attack. Whenever Israel don't get their own way they go squealing to the US an the EU to do their dirty work. If it weren't for Nasrallah, Lebanon would be occupied today.
