HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Monday demolished a residential trailer in the southern West Bank town of Idhna, west of Hebron.

Muhammad Badawi Tumeizi, whose family lives in the trailer, told a Palestinian monitoring group that Israeli soldiers and Civil Administration officials escorted a bulldozer to the Wadi al-Beer neighborhood for the demolition.

He said that his family of eight have been left homeless by the demolition.

The trailer, according to Tumeizi, was donated to the family by the international-activist group the International Solidarity Movement last year.

A trailer is not a structure so it cannot be said it was built without a permit. So why destroy it? Just to make life as miserable as possible for those pesky Palestinians.
