CAIRO (Ma'an) -- Fatah's speaker in the Palestinian Legislative Council, Azzam al-Ahmad, told Ma'an Saturday that he has no ill feeling towards PLC council speaker Aziz Dweik, after the two officials had a public spat last month.
"I have no dispute with Aziz Dweik and the media amplified the issue," al-Ahmad said.
"The relationship between Fatah and Hamas is stable at this moment, and the dispute did not corrupt the positive atmosphere of the reconciliation. We are moving towards Palestinian reconciliation."
The rival Hamas and Fatah officials disagreed on the success of reconciliation efforts during a PLO meeting last month, with both officials trading insults about their rival factions.
