GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- An Israeli military court on Monday extended the administrative detention of Issa al-Jabari by one month, the prisoners rights group Addameer said Sunday.
Israeli forces arrested al-Jabari in May 2011. He is being held without charge or trial.
Al-Jabari had previously been released in March 2010 after 14 months in jail.
He was also detained in the summer of 2006, when Israeli forces rounded up Hamas officials in response to the capture of a soldier by a militant group in Gaza.
He was held for almost two years and re-arrested in 2009.
Al-Jaabari was elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council in 2006.
