RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli authorities have transferred a prisoner with cancer to hospital, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said Wednesday.

Myasar Abu Hamdieh was taken to hospital in Tel Aviv, he PPS said in a statement.

Meamwhile Mohammad Taj, from Tubas, was transferred from Hadarim prison to a clinic at Ramle jail after a deterioration in his health, the group said. He suffered pulmonary failure several months ago.
