BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A small swarm of locusts was reported in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem on Saturday, witnesses said.

Farmers told Ma'an that they saw locusts south of Tulkarem, while other witnesses reported seeing a small swarm east of the city.

A swarm of locusts from Egypt flew into Israel this week. Israeli authorities sprayed pesticides from the air to kill them and limit the damage to crops.
