GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli military vehicles crossed into an area southeast of Gaza City on Monday, locals said.

Military vehicles briefly entered the area of Juhor al-Dik, witnesses told Ma'an.

An Israeli spokeswoman said there was "routine military activity in the central Gaza Strip area."
