HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Two Palestinians were injured by live bullets on Tuesday during clashes with Israeli forces at a refugee camp near Hebron, a medical official said.

Israeli soldiers shot Mahmoud Shadafan in the stomach and 25-year-old Rami al-Krunz, in the foot in al-Fawwar camp, Red Crescent official Nasser Qabaja told Ma'an.

Clashes erupted when Israeli forces raided the camp. Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas after local youths threw stones at them, Qabaja said.

He said the raid followed an earlier incident in which a firebomb was thrown at an Israeli car in the area.

An Israeli army spokeswoman did not immediately return calls.

Maan always "puts the Cart befor the Horse", but always the Clashes come first, and then the shooting follows.
