TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Wednesday morning detained two Palestinians from a southern neighborhood in Tulkarem, locals said.

Locals told Ma'an that six Israeli military vehicles raided Tulkraem, and raided several houses in the southern neighborhood.

Jihad Bassam Balaidi, 20, and Ibrahim Khrim, 20 were detained and taken to unknown location.

An army spokeswoman confirmed the arrests.

Also, one person was detained in Burin, another in Azun, and one in Beit Sira, she said.
