Expired food seized in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Customs officials at the Ministry of National Economy on Wednesday seized expired yogurt, milk, ham and prepackaged salads in Bethlehem.

Twelve tons of expired food were destroyed early Wednesday and officers were checking all food products in the Palestinian markets for people’s safety, a ministry statement said.
