RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian Authority ministry of higher education froze work in some offices and stopped carrying out services on Wednesday after accusations of fraud.

The ministry said in a statement that fraud accusations had been raised in the office of student services, and that a case was transferred to the general prosecutor to begin legal proceedings.
