RAMALLAH (Ma’an) – Russia and Palestine are studying the construction of a power station in the West Bank, the Russian ministry of economic development said Thursday.

The statement, quoted by the website Russia Today, explained that Russian banks and companies could be involved in the project.

Additionally, Russia may include Palestine on the list of the countries which enjoy privileges related to fees and tariffs in case a free trade agreement is signed.

However, the statement added, this should be discussed first by the Eurasian Economic Community.
