QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- A 4-year-old boy died on Monday of wounds sustained in a car accident near Qalqiliya a day earlier, police said.

Adham Mkhyamer was traveling to Qalqiliya with his mother and brothers when the car overturned at high speed.

The passengers were all seriously wounded and transferred to hospital in Israel, where Adham succumbed to his wounds.

Police are investigating the accident.
