BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A delegation headed by Palestinian Authority Premier Salam Fayyad will attend the annual spring meeting of a donor group for Palestine, scheduled to take place in Brussels on Tuesday.
The delegation will submit a report entitled "Palestine: A state under occupation" to the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee, which will be hosted by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton.
The report will propose a vision for Palestinian development and reiterate the right to live free from the constraints of the Israeli occupation, a statement from Fayyad's office said.
The report will focus on development in Area C, the 60 percent of the West Bank under full Israeli control and where most natural resources are located.
Donors will be asked to protect projects in Area C against demolition, and the report will present an action plan focusing on the agricultural, commercial, transport, tourism and water sectors.
The Palestinian delegation will also explain to the donor group how irregularity in financial aid to Palestine, and Israel's policy of withholding Palestinian tax funds, has deepened a financial crisis for the Palestinian Authority.
