Israel closes Kerem Shalom crossing
Published Thursday 21/03/2013 (updated) 22/03/2013 20:22
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli authorities on Thursday decided to close the Karem Shalom crossing a few hours after opening it on Thursday morning, officials said.

Nathmi Muhana, the director general of crossings, told Ma'an that Israel informed the Palestinian side that the crossing would be closed.

He noted that dozens of trucks were supposed to enter the Gaza Strip.

Muhana said the Palestinian side received no official explanation but it was likely that the decision was related to rockets fired into southern Israel early Thursday.

Of course the decision was made after the launching of more rockets on Sderot. This is a new Israeli government with "cohones".

Yup, no doubt at all is was that the decision was related to rockets fired into southern Israel early Thursday. You can't blame them. In fact most countries wouldn't deliver the aid Israel does given the rocket situation
