Gaza woman delivers 5 babies at East Jerusalem Hospital

JERUSALEM (Ma’an) – A Palestinian woman from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday gave birth to five healthy babies at a Jerusalem hospital.

The woman delivered the quintuplets through a cesarean operation at al-Makassed Islamic Charitable Society Hospital in East Jerusalem.

The babies’ grandfather told Ma’an that his daughter-in-law delivered three boys and two girls.

It must have been terribly difficult maintaining this pregnancy in Gaza. I cannot but see this as an illustration of a family struggling to overcome great obstacles and God being with them to see them overcome! GOD is good!

Congratulate the parents. Will the babies be given Jerusalem IDs? I wish the babies good health, and peace. May they become Christian; and live happy, healthy prosperous lives, as unlikely as that seems right now.
