JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Seven children were lightly wounded in East Jerusalem on Saturday during clashes between locals and Israeli forces, witnesses said.
Locals told Ma'an that Israeli forces fired tear gas and stun grenades in the neighborhood of al-Tur while arresting 20-year-old Mustafa Abu al-Hawa.
A local school official said seven children aged 10 to 13 suffered tear gas inhalation and light burns during the incident.
An Israeli police spokesperson could not be reached for comment.
