HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Settlers on Tuesday set fire to wheat fields in a village east of Yatta, locals said.

The blaze destroyed 5,000 square meters of crops, director of Hebron's fire service Amjad Uweiwi said, before crews managed to extinguish the fire.

Ibrahim Abdul-Hamid, one of the landowners, told Ma'an that settlers started the fire.

"What happened today is an episode in a sequence of attacks targeting our farmers, especially in the fields adjacent to Route 60," he said.

The Mayor of Yatta Mousa Makahmira condemned the attack.

Sickening.

Olive tree, farmland destruction ... and on and on and on ... I've started to boost my efforts to stop this and will NOT stop until our government, IDF military administration in the State of Palestine (our term: Judea and Samaria), Yesha Council or someone, somehow, stops them. They must be stopped and they will be or there will very likely be bloodshed borne by those of us who commit these bastardized, heinous crimes. There ISN'T any reason for them. Palestinian anger is fully justified.

To Yehuda Solomon #2: ' I've started to boost my efforts to stop this...' What are you going to do when you realize the only way to 'stop this' is to abolish Israel? Everything that happens logically flows from the initial assumptions of Zionism. There's nothing to fix. There can't be a 'good' Israel.

These attacks are getting too frequent. The Zionists aim is to take away the crops and there can only be one reason for that, and it is to bring starvation to the people. Every time the Palestinian farmer sows, the Zionist destroy. My words to the Zionists are, 'WHAT YOU SOW, SO SHALL YOU REAP.' In other words you are sowing your evil deeds, and you will reap evil for yourselves. In the judgement of God, He shall judge peoples hearts, and the ZIONISTS HEARTS ARE AS BLACK AS COAL.

@ 2), So if the only way to stop them is to abolish Israel because all the trouble that's followed since was because of Zionism (whose goal was the founding of Israel), then it also logically follows that if Zionism had been successful in persuading all Arab Peoples to accept the 1947 UN Partition Plan borders for Israel and (hypothetically) peace would have prevailed, Israel would still eventually need to be abolished because it wouldn't have been worth the risk of hoping to risk the (cont.)

the possibility of any future trouble, whether from overzealous Zionists (Israelites) or anyone else in the region ... (small correction: delete the second risk from previously and replace it with contain ... which would be a better word), right ??? ... Yeah, ... NOW I get what you mean ... R-I-I-I-I-I-I-GHT ... So that means, no matter what, Israel is better off dead than alive ... The only logic your logic reveals is that people who think like that cannot be logically reasoned with, period.

@ 3), (another small correction ... I meant to address previous comments to you, Colin, ... should have said @ 3) ... but I'm sure you're at least smart enough to understand that from context .. so, to continue ...) ... In your defense, if you really want to focus on being logical and reasonable, I admit we are NOT logical nor reasonable, either. If we were, we would wholeheartedly agree to the Palestinian demands (with the possible exception of agreeing to a Palestinian Right-of- (cont.)

Return). This would basically encompass all key points of the so-called 2002 Arab Peace Initiative. [Allowing a Palestinian Right-of-Return would basically flood Israel with Palestinians and would obviously greatly add to a dilution of our Israelite population, demographically; however, in order to "rectify" that we could (logically and reasonably) give such Palestinian "refugees" economic compensation to remain in what would then be an Israel-recognized State of Palestine.] Too late now.

Yehuda Solomon - you suggest that someone suggested "Israel is better off dead than alive." Can't really follow from what was said, BUT haven't you said all along, despite your new-found tears for Palestinians terrorised by settlers, that eventually all Palestinians would leave the area you choose to call "Israel" (ie all the land between the Med. and Jordan) either by force or otherwise, and by force you clearly mean "if they have to be killed then we will kill them."

Again, Yehuda Solomon - # 8 - "Allowing a Palestinian right of return would basically flood Israel with Palestinians . . ." and there's the rub - can't have these pesky Palestinians ruining your lovely apartheid state and adding to the "dilution of our Israelite population . . " Bloody hell, mate, this is exactly what Hitler said!!!

@ 9), 10), Answer: My sincerest hope is to avoid all bloodshed. I understand you exactly. All the Arab Peoples are Israel's brethren. As I've said before, my position of defending the Palestinians (at present) from heinous, terrorist attacks is not inconsistent with our sacred Torah commandment to eventually cause them (and all non-Israelites) to leave. If force would eventually be used, it must be done with a minimum of casualties. Forget Hitler. He was for genocide ... We are NOT.

# 11 - "if force would eventually be used, it must be done with minimum of casualties." Yeah, like Gaza.
