GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A five-year-old boy was killed in the Gaza Strip on Saturday after being struck by a stray bullet inside his home, police said.

Yousef Darwish sustained fatal injuries after a stray bullet hit him in Nuseirat refugee camp, Gaza police spokesman Ayoub Abu Shaar told Ma'an.

The boy was taken to a hospital in Deir al-Balah but pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have opened an investigation to determine the source of the gunfire.

Israel has made itself into a racist theocracy with ICBM nukes; a real threat to itself and to the whole world. Justice demands that UN and NATO impose resolution just as involuntary, disruptive and humiliating to Israel as Israel has wreaked upon occupied Palestine for generations. Israel must be made to recognize an armed Palestine with externally enforced autonomy, eviction of all settlers, true contiguity encompassing Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem together neither pinched nor parceled.

Brilliant suggestion, JohnWV!!! Let's see the establishment of an armed Palestine (for the record, a sovereign state that has never existed in all of human history), "non-racist" ... but with no Jews allowed (just conveniently label them "settlers" and they lose any human right they might have had to live anywhere on the planet ... they certainly should not live in their ancient homeland). It's hard to take you seriously...
