BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian and Israeli chief negotiators are due to meet on Tuesday for the next round of peace talks, a Fatah official said Monday.
Nabil Shaath said that negotiating teams will meet Tuesday, without providing further details.
The Israeli side has not presented any suggestions or proposals for peace negotiations, which so far have made no progress, Shaath added.
The Palestinian Authority may resort to international bodies if negotiations reach a dead end.
Israeli and Palestinian negotiators formally resumed direct peace talks earlier last month after a hiatus of nearly three years, thanks to an intense bout of shuttle diplomacy by US Secretary of State John Kerry.
They are expected to last about nine months.
