Senior Jordanian officer dies of cancer at Israeli hospital

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) – A Jordanian military helicopter landed midday Monday in Israel’s Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem to transfer to Amman the body of a senior Jordanian army officer who died at the hospital Sunday.

According to the Hebrew-language news site Walla, the Jordanian officer had been receiving cancer treatment at the Israeli hospital and doctors pronounced him dead Sunday evening.
