MECCA (Ma'an) -- Palestinian Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Mahmud Habbash, on Saturday met Palestinian Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia to check up on them and ask them about their needs and demands.
Habbash toured the hotel where Palestinian Hajj pilgrims are staying in order to ensure there are enough blankets, coolers, cleaning supplies, and air conditioning in the rooms.
Habbash talked with many of the Hajj pilgrims, and invited them to express their opinions. He assured them that the ministry is ready to provide any needed help in order to provide comfort.
Habbash also thanked the guides and doctors who are working around the clock to serve the Hajj pilgrims. Hajj pilgrims thanked the PA minister for the visit.
Muslims consider taking the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime to be a fundamental tenet of their religion.
