CAIRO (Ma'an) -- Three cars wired with explosives detonated near Egyptian military intelligence headquarters in northeastern city of Ismailia Saturday, injuring several officers, an Egyptian security officer told Ma'an.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the officer said that a man drove his car through the external wall surrounding the building before he pulled the trigger, killing himself and injuring a number of Egyptian security officers.
Two other booby-trapped cars parked outside the wall exploded as a result of the first explosion, the officer said.
AFP reported that four people were injured in the attack.
