14 injured in Bethlehem road accident

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Fourteen people sustained wounds in a road accident in the Wadi Shahin neighborhood of eastern Bethlehem on Monday afternoon, medics reported.
Director of ambulance and emergency services in Bethlehem Abdul-Halim Jaafira said that a taxi and a private car had collided head on, and injuries ranged from moderate to minor.
Jaafira added 12 passengers were evacuated to Bethlehem Arab Society Hospital in Beit Jala and two were taken to al-Yamama Hospital in Al-Khadr.
