Israeli forces detain 15 in West Bank arrest raids

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained 15 Palestinians early Wednesday, locals said.

In Hebron, 11 people were detained in the village of al-Dhahiriya after Israeli forces raided several homes.

Brothers Osama, Raed, Alaa, and Adel Mohammad al-Najjar were arrested, together with Riyad Mohammad al-Batat, Madien al-Kakai, Ibrahim Janazreh, Mahmud Wreidat, Fayez Raba, and Mohi al-Batat, witnesses said.

In Deir Samit village, Israeli forces detained Luai and Odai Sameer Issa Masalmeh, and Yousef Rasmi Hassan Masalmeh.

In Nablus, Israeli forces detained Abdullah Nafe Yasin from Jalama village and Ahmad Mahmud Abu al-Hayjaa from al-Yamoun.

An Israeli army spokeswoman did not return calls seeking comment.
