GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Dozens of Palestinian youth demonstrated in Gaza City Saturday in protest of Israel's so-called Prawer Plan to displace Bedouin residents of Negev.

Demonstrators raised posters rejecting the Prawer Plan and other Israeli practices against the Palestinian people.

The rally was organized by Gaza Strip's Intifada Youth Coalition in conjunction with an international "day of rage" against the Prawer Plan.

"We are sending a message to our people in the Negev, asserting that they are a part and parcel of us, despite the occupation's plans to displace them and exile them from Palestine," coalition spokeswoman Shurouq Mahmoud said in a statement.

The demonstration is one of 24 protests against the Prawer Plan scheduled for Saturday worldwide.

The Israeli government approved the Prawer-Begin Plan in 2011, in what it says was an attempt to address the problem of unrecognized Bedouin villages in the Negev desert of southern Israel.

According to the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, the plan will forcibly evict nearly 40,000 Bedouin and destroy their communal and social fabric, condemning them to a future of poverty and unemployment.

Other estimates put the number of Bedouin residents to be evicted by the Prawer Plan at 70,000.

Israel refuses to recognize 35 Bedouin villages in the Negev, which collectively house nearly 90,000 people.

The Israeli government denies them access to basic services and infrastructure, such as electricity and running water, and refuses to place them under municipal jurisdiction.

This is the type of civil disobedience needed to achieve human basic rights within the fabrics of unforgiving situation. The Palestinian people must peacefully rise as one against Israel’s illegal occupation of their land and demand their basic rights be rewarded, protected and honored within the one-state solution model.

1- A "ONE-STATE solution model," with Areas A/B-Gaza and Israel ever becoming a single entity IS AN ARAB FANTASY or "Mirage", and 2- Demanding Palestinian basic rights (peacefully or not) will be rewarded LIKE CHASING A MIRAGE of an oasis, where no water exists !! And, 3- The Only Real "Water" Is Negotiations, but Palestinians have chosen to die of thirst for a fantasy state !!!

Now Bedouins too. Justice demands that UN and NATO impose resolution just as involuntary, disruptive, humiliating and lethal to Israel as Israel has wreaked upon occupied Palestine for generations. The Jewish State must be made to recognize an armed Palestine with externally enforced autonomy, eviction of all settlers, true contiguity true contiguity encompassing Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem together, neither pinched nor parceled, and pay punitive reparations.

Why is it that Palestinians live on a diet of lies regarding anything related to Israel? Those people will not be exiled from Israel (not Palestine) The government is replacing those villages with real infrastructure so that the Bedouin can have all of the same basic services that the rest of the population has. Why don't the Palestinians protest the # of their people killed in Syria?

* PROTEST, AND WORDS CAN NOT ALTER ISRAEL'S PLANS, to remove 100s of Arab "settlement", and PLO Refusal to Negotiate delays creating Palestine, while more disputed lands become increasingly Israel's, WITH * MORE JEWISH & LESS ARAB SETTLEMENT FACTS, ON THE GROUND.
