Al-Arabi: negotiations at a critical stage

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil Al-Arabi said that negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis are at a critical stage.
Al-Arabi said in a joint press conference with Palestinian foreign minister Riyadh al-Malki in Cairo that they are at a critical stage because of "Israel's way of negotiating," news agency Wafa reported.
Al-Arabi added in the press conference that was held after a meeting with President Mahmoud Abbas that the international community agrees that this conflict must end, and that a Palestinian state is established with east Jerusalem as its capital.
Al-Arabi said that his meeting with Abbas was important as he briefed his on the updates of negotiations, and that he still believes that the negotiations did not fail.
Al-Malki said in the conference that a meeting between ministers will be held on Saturday in the Arab league to discuss the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations.
Al-Malki added that Palestine hopes to receive the support and aid in always has from the Arab league to end the occupation and establish the state.
