Locals in Azzun told Ma'an that Israeli forces have been raiding their town on a nearly daily basis under the pretext that young men from the town throw rocks at settler vehicles near the town.
Azzun is surrounded on all sides by areas under Israeli military control and an Israeli settlement bloc sits directly to the south.
