BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian anti-narcotics unit on Monday seized quantities of drugs and arrested 17 people accused of distributing them in Nablus, the city’s governor said.
Abdullah Kamil told Ma’an that 220 grams of cocaine and different quantities of other drugs were seized.
Kamil said that it was part of a campaign to fight drugs, arrest distributors, battle addiction, and make people aware of the risks of drugs.
Kamil added that a group of Hamas members, including three former ministers, visited the governor’s office to congratulate him and support the campaign.
