Palestinian killed, 3 injured in car accident near Jenin

JENIN (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian man died and three others were injured late Saturday in a car accident on a main road between Nablus and Jenin in the northern West Bank, police said.

A police statement said that a Hyundai Tucson collided with a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance.

As a result of the accident, ambulances rushed four people to hospitals.

Medics pronounced dead the driver of the SUV, who was from the village of Arraba near Jenin.

They said three others sustained serious to moderate injuries.
