Israeli forces detain 5 Palestinians in Nabi Salih near Ramallah

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) – Israeli forces stormed Nabi Salih village west of Ramallah in the central West Bank early on Tuesday morning and detained three young Palestinian men and two teenagers.
Locals told Ma’an that among the detainees was a spokesman of the popular resistance committee in the village, 25-year-old Salih Muhammad Atallah Tamimi.
The other detainees were identified as 36-year-old Rami Hussein Yousif Tamimi, 23-year-old Jihad Muhammad Rushdi Tamimi, 19-year-old Mahmoud Wajeeh Muhammad Tamimi, and 16-year-old Basil Abdullah Salih Tamimi.
Locals highlighted that clashes broke between local young men and Israeli troops while they withdrew.
The Israeli troops confiscated posters from the local information office known as Tamimi Press.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said six people were detained in the raid.
She said they were suspected of "illegal activities."
