3 arrested overnight in Hebron

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained 3 young Palestinians from different areas of Hebron district on Wednesday in overnight raids.

Locals said that Israeli forces raided the houses of Ibrahim Qandil Masalma, 24, in Beit Awa, Abdul Minim al-Zughayyer, 19, in Hebron, and Mohammad Walid Amro, 17, in Dura and detained them.

The three were all taken to unknown destinations by Israeli forces..

An Israeli military spokesman confirmed that Israeli forces had detained one man in Hebron, and one in Dura, but said the third took place in Bani Naim.

He added that they had been taken for "security questioning."
