GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A young Palestinian was injured by Israeli forces on Friday morning east of Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, medics said.

Ministry of Health spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra told Ma’an that a 21-year-old man was shot by Israeli forces located east of the camp.

He was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, al-Qidra added.

An Israeli army spokesman said that initial checks indicated that forces near the border fired "riot-dispersal means" when a Palestinian man approached a security fence.

Continually taking "pot shots" at anything that moves... With an unlimited supply of high powered rifle bullets.. Heavily armed solders.. Sniping at unarmed civilians for kicks.. Whatever comes into range.. From behind a reinforced concrete tower... Such a sick and perverted society...
