GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Ma'an Network began a five-day training course for Palestinian journalists in Gaza on Sunday, the head of Ma'an's Gaza office said.

Imad Eid said in an opening brief that the main goal of the course was to train journalists how to cover conflict-sensitive issues.

He said the course would also focus on teaching reporters methods for working in conflict zones without endangering their lives.

The course -- funded by UNESCO -- is entitled: "Promoting Quality Journalism on Conflict-Sensitive Reporting for Media Workers in Gaza."

Twenty-two Palestinian reporters and cameramen, who work for several local and international media outlets, are taking part in the course.

Three similar training courses have been held in Gaza in the past.

MAINTAIN YOUR OBJECTIVE POSITION,COVER ALL ASPECTS AND CHECK YOUR SOURCES!!
Focus on TRUTH,not keeping factions happy(even if media is OWNED by factions).
And watch out for Israeli SNIPERS & Drone/Navy missiles fired at you even if you have PRESS/TV labels blazened in red,all over your vests/vehicles!!

Let me simplify the process. Every news article must include who, what, when, where, why and how and cannot leave any of these elements out. In addition, stories must be confirmed through multiple sources. Lastly, stories must attempt to be balanced, with comment coming from various sides of an issue if at all possible. Those are the elements of good reporting.
