5 injured in unknown explosion in Beit Hanoun

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Five people were injured on Thursday evening in an unknown explosion in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

Spokesman for the Gaza Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra said that five people were injured in the blast, including two children and a 55-year-old woman who was hurt seriously.

They were all taken to Kamal Adwan hospital.

It was not immediately clear what the cause of the blast was.
