BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The first auditions for Ma'an Network's new Palestinian talent show will take place in Bethlehem on Monday.

There will be two stages of auditions for Best Talent before the show moves to live transmission on Ma'an's satellite channel, general director Raed Othman said.

The contestants will perform before a panel of veteran Palestinian artists and musicians, such as actor and playwright Ahmad Abu Saloum, singer Ammar Hasan, folklore performer Dalal Abu Amneh, and dance instructor Dennis Khamis.

Nadim Darawsheh, Best Talent's general manager, said the show would encourage Palestinian talent both in Palestine and Israel and "refresh the spirit of life" of Palestinian arts and culture.

Auditions will take place in Bethlehem, Jenin, Ramallah, Nazareth, Nablus, and the Galilee town of Sakhnin.

No registration is required to take part in the auditions.
