JENIN (Ma'an) -- Three Palestinian militant groups on Saturday vowed to retaliate against Israel after its army killed three militants in Jenin refugee camp overnight.

In a joint statement, Hamas' military wing al-Qassam Brigades, Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, and Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades threatened a "painful" retaliation against Israel.

The statement also accused the Palestinian Authority of complicity in the killings.

Three Palestinian militants were killed and several others were injured early Saturday during clashes with Israeli troops who raided Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank, Palestinian security sources said.

The three were identified as Hamza Abu al-Haija, a 22-year-old leader of al-Qassam Brigades, Mahmoud Abu Zeina, a 17-year-old member of al-Quds Brigades, and 22-year-old Yazan Mahmoud Basim Jabarin of al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades.

An earlier Hamas statement said that PA security services had summoned and detained al-Haija several times before.

A spokesman for Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas denounced the killings, describing them as part of "systematic Israeli policy aimed at destroying everything."

Nabil Abu Rdeina said that Israel escalated its "attacks against citizens." He urged the US administration to take action before peace talks collapsed.

Well maybe if fake president abbas took actions and disarmed those militants israel wouldnt have to kill them. If militants layed down their weapons and surrender, israel wouldnt have to kill them.

The "systematic Israeli policy aimed at destroying everything" is little different to the "systematic PA policy aimed at destroying everything."

Why are the people not seeking peace instead of war?

If the militant groups follow through with the threat of "painful retaliation for Jenin killings", First - they will probably fail, Second - there will be war (either way), and Third - Palestinians will pay in blood far more than Israelis !!!

@ 3: The people you mentioned are seeking peace for decades and what do they got from the occupier ? More land confiscation (theft), more illegal settlement expansions, more killings, more checkpoints, apartheid /separation wall, uprooting olive trees, opression, brutal armed colonist attacks on civillians etc. etc. and you are asking why they are not seeking for peace ???? c'mon wake up! Where have you been all the time under a stone or so ?

Israel must be taught that for every Palestian they murder ...there is an equal retribution. An eye for an eye. For every home demolition of a Palestinian home ...Israel must be paid in full. That's the only langauge this Satanist Israel will understand. Militants?? ....Freedom Fighters!

@7 Nana: I dont seem to recall a single Jew anywhere in the world ever strapping on a bomb belt and detonating in a pizza cafe or city bus the way the groups these 3 Palestinians belong to have done repeatedly. Nor do I recall a single Jew climbing into a Palestinian home in the middle of the night and stabbing a family to death in their sleep and then slicing a 3 month old babys throat for crying the way Palestinians did to the Fogel Family. Asking for weapons must be a sick joke.

#7 Your not allowed to carry weapons because you and your Arab neighbors have tried to exterminate Israel many times in the past and continue towards this goal today. And while Israel holds the power to have truly "cleansed" the occupied territories of "Palestinians" as so many on this site claim they have always been doing, the Palestinians are still here today. Israel isnt making threats of annihilation, but the infinite number of fanatical terrorist groups running rampant in gaza and WB are.
