JENIN (Ma'an) -- The Israeli army arrested nine Palestinians in detention raids across the West Bank early Tuesday, Palestinian security sources and a military spokeswoman said.
Israeli forces detained four Palestinians in al-Yamoun west of Jenin, security sources told Ma'an.
The sources said several Israeli military vehicles raided the village, and that Israeli troops ransacked a number of homes before daybreak.
Israeli troops then blindfolded four men and took them to an unknown location.
The detainees were identified as 22-year-old Ashraf Wael Abu Ubeid, 21-year-old Hamza Beisan Abu al-Haija, 40-year-old Raed Hasan Salah Abu al-Hasan, and 22-year-old Ayman Ahmad Ghazal.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers detained three Palestinian youths in raids in Nablus and the nearby refugee camps of Balata and Ein Beit al-Mai, security sources said.
Israeli troops confiscated personal computers belonging to the detainees, the sources said.
Those arrested were identified as Baha Kalbani, Suhayb Kalbani, and Muhammad Qatuni.
A spokeswoman for the Israeli military told Ma'an nine Palestinians were arrested overnight -- two in Tulkarem, four in al-Yamoun, two in Beit Furik near Nablus, and one near Bethlehem.
