AMMAN, Jordan (Ma’an) – The son of a Jordanian Palestinian judge who was shot by Israeli troops at the Allenby Bridge crossing earlier in March died Saturday evening in Amman.

Family members told Jordan’s daily al-Ghad newspaper that 6-year-old Alaa Raed Zieter died of a chronic disease. His doctor refused to give details.

The boy’s body was laid to rest Saturday in a cemetery in Tabarbour neighborhood in the Jordanian capital.

His father, Raed Alaa Addin Zieter, was shot dead by an Israeli soldier at crossing on March 10. Zieter was a judge at a magistrate court in Amman and was on his way to a visit to his town of origin Nablus.

The Jordanian government demanded that Israel provide it with a full report detailing the incident, and to open an investigation and inform Jordan of its results.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the Zieter family. It is a pity that Jordan seems to be unable to augment our prayers on behalf of this family beset by tragedy.

3) reading is very difficult for you "Israelis" isn't it? I'm so sorry for the mother and her little daughter, first losing their father/husband and then losing their brother/son. How do you ever get over this? I wish them strength and a lot of love. Rest in peace little Alaa.

Condolences to the family!
Many IDF take great pride in shooting innocent Palestinians & have NO QUALMS about annoying Jordans govt(they both receive FMF from USG).Heck,Israeli's see a Palestinian child in the WOMB as a "terrorist".That's how deep the indoctrination goes! Oh my goodness! The day USG divests from fanatical Zionism will be a day for true democracy & a better day for Jews & a new Israel,too! As long as USG protects Israel,it negotiates with(Jewish)terrorists.
