CAIRO (AFP) -- Arab foreign ministers gathered on Wednesday with President Mahmoud Abbas said Israel was "wholly responsible for the dangerous stalemate" in US-brokered peace talks scheduled to end on April 29.

The emergency meeting was requested by Abbas after Israel backtracked on releasing a final batch of Palestinian prisoners and reissued tenders for 708 settler homes in occupied East Jerusalem.

Israel"wholly responsible"? That's not fair! That's like totally blaming Germany for The Holocaust, when we know Western allies(inlcd USG)were aware of the pogroms, transfer, massacres & extermination of non-Aryans,&they did nothing to heed the desperate pleas of Euro-Jews to STOP it earlier! Now guilt-ridden USG/US Jews do nothing to STOP Zionism's Holocaust on non-Jews who have done NOTHING wrong also,to Israeli's.It's a shared symbiotic blame, gentlemen.Kinda like GCC &Al Qaida!

@Mel/USA You are right, In a way you can't only blame Germany for the Holocaust. The US was fully aware of it and if somehow they enter the war couple of years earlier some Jewish lives would have been saved, and you wouldn't have the problem the Palestinians have right now. As far as Israel taking the blame for the stalemate, Yes they are to blame. But Israel is always willing to talk about something that they do not agree with to begin with. And the result is always a stalemate.
