BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian gunmen shot and killed one person and injured two others in a car driven by an Israeli settler in the occupied West Bank on Monday, Israel's military said.

The Palestinians shot at the car in Tarqumiyah near Hebron in the West Bank, killing one person and injuring two passengers, according to Israeli news reports.

The victims were in their vehicle at the time of the shooting.

A 40-year-old man, presumably the father, was pronounced dead, while the mother was in serious condition, and the child suffered only light injuries, Channel 2 reported.

Police said Israeli forces were searching the scene for suspects.

very sad tragedy that never would have happened had these illegal squatters lived legally inside the green line of izrael instead of being criminals in stolen, occupied land. needless to say, murder is never justified, and countless more Palestinians have been murdered and injured by the apartheid izraeli regime and violent terrorist squatters. this tragedy is just one more good reason for izrael to make peace with Palestinians and end their brutal, illegal occupation.

ISRAEL has COLLECTED TAXES for Area A, AND it SHOULD USE THEM TO COMPENSATE THE VICTIMS, of the terrorism, that comes from Area A.

(contd.) Conventions on war. But here's a question for Brian and Outlier: WHY did the Palestinian kill the settler driving with his family in his car in Hebron? It's the question they never ask or answer and I don't expect one here. They might repond but they won't ANSWER it.

from which this brave warrior (shooting passangers in a car) comes would be turned into a PARKING LOT. Perhaps , one day, ISRAEL will learn the WAYS of the MIDDLE EAST and behave accordingly/

This won't end well. It's OK for Israel to kill a Palestinian. In fact, sixty Palestinians. I mean, they throw rocks, stage violent protests and lunge at border guards trying to grab their weapons. But an attack on one of G-d's chosen people, esp. a lethal one, is an attack on G-d H-mself and an awful (collective) revenge will follow. Lidice-style. But it will fit nicely with the vindictive tantrum Israel is currently throwing since President Abbas called their bluff and joined the Geneva
