JERUSALEM (Ma’an) – Right-wing Jewish organizations distributed a leaflet across Jerusalem Monday urging Jews to join an emergency conference to discuss means to secure a Jewish presence inside the al-Aqsa compound.

The conference, according to the leaflet, will be held Tuesday at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem to address how to guarantee a Jewish presence inside the holy place and to force Israeli police to open all gates to Jews and allow them to perform Jewish rites freely.

The leaflet reads that workshops and panels will be held to listen to suggestions on how to impose “complete Jewish sovereignty on the Temple Mount.” The leaflet claims that Jews, when they enter the compound, are being humiliated, detained, harassed and subjected to physical harm.

Panelists in the conference include rabbis, Israeli ministers and Knesset members such as Moshe Feiglin, Orit Strook and Moti Yogev of the Jewish Home party as well as Miri Regev of Likud and Shlomi Moallem, according to the pamphlet.

It adds that the “Temple Mount is open to Jews from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.”

It's a building being treated as an idol. Both peoples are supposed to avoid worship of "false" idols. They all should be rounded up and taught some true religion.

Al Aqsa is a MUSLIM holy site and Jews have no sovereignty on it what's so ever!

Al Aqsa is Isamic Waqf & will remain so until the end of time. It is the Muslims who are humiliated, detained, harassed & subject to physical harm. The behaviour by far right Zionist extremists is reprehensible. How the Zionists can profess to be religious, yet profane the very area they claim to be so holy to them is totally illogical. But then I suppose logic plays no part in this.

Al Aqsa was built on the ruins of the Byzantine Church of St. Mary of Justinian destroyed by the Muslims as part of their illegal occupation and Islamization of Jerusalem. The Church was in turn built on the site of the Israelite Temples of Somon and Ezra as part of the illegal occpation and Christianization of Jerusalem.

So no, neither of those can be called a holy site and the Jews have complete sovereignty there.

I am Jewish and suffered absolutely no harassment when visiting the Al Aqsa Mosque compound. I suggest that if Jews suffer harassment it is because they are behaving provocatively and inappropriately.
