BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian access from the West Bank to Israel will be restricted starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, the Israeli army said.

"During the National Memorial Day and the Israeli Independence day, Israel's Civil Administration will continue to facilitate Palestinian access from (the West Bank) to Israel for medical, humanitarian and exceptional cases only," an army statement said Saturday.

"Access for non humanitarian cases will be restricted between Sunday, May 4, 2014 18:00 and Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 23:59."
